thermostat switch probe

i read up a lot of the searches on the write up on how to do the efan thermostat switch but.........

i would like to see how you guys put your probe....did you put it in the hose or on the fin and what works better

pictures would help alot thanks

Mine came with directions to insert it through the fins, about 2" below the radiator inlet.

does it work good having it just piched in between there or would it work best if you stuck it in the hose

The radiator tubes & fins are very good at heat exchange, so if the probe is slipped in between them it will see the coolant temp quite well.
