thermostat question?

thermostat question?

if the thermostat gets stuck will it cause the car to boil the coolant? cause i have the discount auto parts thermostat and i boiled it today comin home didnt overheat but it boiled. could that be the problem?

If it sticks closed you betcha it'll boil!
Only use Mazda thermostats!

thank u

yeah thanks i'm have to change it soon as possible. i just tied the ports down again, not bad this time. last time i did it i had no accerlation what so ever this time is like if i didnt even tie them at all.
