THERMOSTAT!!!!!!!arghhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ok this is the 3rd thermostat i put in my 1987 rx-7>>(AutoZone brand), within the past three months!!!!!!!!!!!! I have not put any radiator flush in it. i need some input on what brand to get or what to do!!!

Has anyone ever had this problem????

I really don't have the money to go and get it professionally cleaned yet, but im sure i can do this myself!

Anyadvise?

why have you changed it 3 times? get a mazda one. it's the only one to use.

I have an aftermarket one from Advance Auto Parts. it's a 180 degree. I've had it for around 10k miles now.

Uhh... for $15 you can have the OEM one that works very well... also includes a new gasket.
