Is there a vacuum or pressure coming from the presilencer aux port pipe?
I read during my long searches that this pipe coming from the pre-silencer for the aux ports has enoughe of a PSI to activate the ports. However, they didn't say weather its a positive amount of air or a vacuum amounf of air? I would have thought that with exhaust gases passing through the pre-silencer that it would give off a vacuum, and last time I checked, the port actuator nipple needs a pressurized source to activate the ports...
Maybe im just not getting it.
If it does work with the port actuators, maybe I could just do the airpump-mod on the presilencer instead of the air pump?
thx

You're not getting it...
All exhaust systems have positive pressure in them when the engine's running. Always.
It says pretty clearly in the FSM to connect a pressure gauge (not a vacuum gauge), and then apply compressed air. Should be pretty clear...
