I just put my base manifold gasket in, and I heard the littlest bit of air and I got scared, but its definetely coming from this plastic piece that the manual calls a pressure regulator, is it suppose to like leak air? does it kinda just bleed off the extra or something? does anybody know what im talkin about?

RETed
I thought the manual called it the pressure regulator, but I think the cap does turn, so should a little bit of air leak out all the time while the car is running?

If you're talking about the fuel pressure regulator (one small hose and one larger hose), then that's something else.  If this thing is hissing, it's not leaking - it's bypassing gas, so it's perfectly normal.
