Is there a poblem with all my questions?
yo ppls i have a 88 na. im 19 turning 20 in june. i got my car about 7 months ago for 2700 with 155k. all stock except for intake and exhuast. clean car and very strong. at first i wanted to know everythin about rx7s but then i realized i wasnt a rx7 guy. im 100% muscle car guy. so i stoped alot about my 7 and now im turning into a rotary guy. so im asking a **** load of questions. one after another and i just want to make sure that no one here is going to get mad about that. and does anyone think its a bad idea to ask so many questions? thanks alot ' Marcos'
Nobody will get mad *IF*:
**You read the FAQ.
**You search the forum before you post.
(Somebody could have already had the question answered)
Glad to hear you are becoming a rotorhead. Welcome to the addiction.
PS. Being 18-20 sucks... Too old to legally bang 17 year olds, and not old enough to legally drink the barkers prettier. I feel for you.
I remember those days like they were 8 years ago.

I think its always a good idea to ask questions if you cant understand something you are researching on here and need a better understanding, if people are rude and ignorant just ignore it because there are lots of rude people on here.
I've had my Rx7 for 2 years now and I've had to ask quite a few questions on here to get through everything I've done. Having people reassure you on here that youre doing things right helps your confidence alot and makes you feel alot better about your work.

There books you could also pick up, but for the most part, if you read the FAQ alot of your questions will be answered.

3) If you think people will get mad at your question then you probably haven't done any work on your part to learn. Search, search, and search some more. Exhaust the resources available and you won't look like such an idiot.
Hehe. Glad you like.
I forgot to mention, I have a nice easy to read version of the FAQ on my site... Well, its not THAT much easier to read yet..I haven't gotten around to formatting the text. but, Its all consolidated information so you don't have to go searching around. Check my signature for the link(s).

92% of what you need to know is in the FSM
75% of what you need to know is in a Hayne's manual
99% of what you need to know can be found through searching/faq's/archives
And yes, that's more than 100% for a reason.
This pains me to admit, but I'm going to agree with Ted here.

AOL chat, sure whatever. RX7 Club 2nd Gen Technical Section, it makes a difference. To answer someone's question, you shouldn't have to decode it first.
Internet speak does two things:
1. It makes your post more difficult to read and understand.
2. Makes you sound you like don't know how to write properly, or are too lazy.
(In the latter case, if you're lazy, why should someone spoon feed you the information.)
There is nothing wrong with asking questions. It's only annoying if it's the same question that gets asked once a day for the past 6 years, or if it's "Been done to death."

Not too mention that, since it appears you haven't figured it out yet, the internet has become a primary means of communication. If you asked me a question like that in person I would probably scratch my head, look at you, maybe smirk, scratch my head again, turn and walk away.
So, I care. Obviously, there are quite a few others that do as well.
When I see someone that uses extremely bad grammar and spelling I have a tendency to not help them. I figure if they want help they should be willing to put in the time to make a coherent sentence and/or paragraph.
Obviously, it's near impossible to have perfect grammar or spelling, but as long as I see an effort. Whether it be a numbered list, paragraph with clear sentences, or something else, at least make it easily readable.
You don't HAVE to write well on the internet. There's nobody grading you on your grammar/spelling. However, I do it as a courtesy to others, especially in this section. This is a technical help section. Would you want to go to your mechanic and hear "yo g, i think that rotuurr has a prob you might wanna tink bout fixin dat befure it breaks while ur crusin"?
