Is there a difference between 3rd gen sparks plugs and 2nd gen spark plugs?
Someone told me that, the 3rd gen spark plugs were a littlebit closer to the combustion chamber, than the 2nd gen spark plugs are, is this true? Can you put them on a 2nd gen?

hmmmmmmmm, well FD's take the same spark plugs i'm pretty sure...either 7EQ's or 9EQ's. thats what all the rotaries need. as for their placement on the motor themselfes (the housings for them) maybe they are a little different than the 13B n/a motors...but the plugs should all be the same

2nd and 3rd gen are the same
2nd and 3rd gens take the same NGK plugs.
1st gens, however, use a completely different plug. they have a different part number and different shaped electrodes.
using a non-NGK plug will in most cases make your car difficult or impossible to start.
2nd and 3rd gen plugs are interchangable and same rules apply to each. 1st gen however have a different thread I think so they may not work in the FCs and FDs. I don't think you can run these plugs in 13B's.
