Testing AFM S5 Turbo "spike " on ohms, whats up!!

I tested an AFM that I just got online from 87 T-66. I am trying to test it according to the FSM before I install it. I am getting a reading on terminals THA to E2 of 1900 ohms at about 73 degrees. The problem (if it is a problem) is that it does not read this steady. It flashes on the ohm-meter this number and then goes away. Is this normal for this circuit? If I remove the probes and touch it again, it will flash to same again. Any help is appreciated.

Any time that I am testing something where the value should "sweep", I use an analog meter. Try it using one of those and look for "dead" spots.

Good idea, but in this test, it is a test across the internal intake air thermosensor. At each temperature, it is supposed to have a specific value. In this case, it is about 70 degrees here in st. louis and it is supposed to read between 2 and 3000. it is not really a sweep reading. I just don't know if the reading us supposed to stay on the screen or not. .................Interesting update, I tested it with an analog meter and it is reading about 2500. Right in spec and the reading stays on the analog meter. Go Figure!
