Tension Bolts

This is my first rotary rebuild, enjoying it so far. I was disassembling the motor; while I was removing the tension bolts, a little bit of coolant came out with each bolt. Is this normal? Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks!

the tension bolts hold the motor (and all its fluids) together with tension. when you removed the bolts you released this tension and its very likely that coolant leaked between the plates and onto the bolts. make sense?

The bolts go right through the water jacket, so they will be wet with coolant. That's why they have a Dowty seal on each head.
