If you had a 4 port template, would it work on the main port of a 6 port motor? I have never owned a 6 port motor before, and was wondering if there was a big enough difference between the two?

The easy answer is no.

Some templates may work depending on what you are trying to do.

You may be able to use a primary port template, and you can use an exhaust port template, but most secondary port templates aren't going to help you.
