Unhappy Temp problem

I need some help! I have a 91 vert n/a conversion to T2 and I have a microtech lt8 running it. Along with that 3 inch exhaust. My problem is this at first i had a temp problem. The car was running at 92 - 96 degrees celcius. I changed the thermostat with a 185 degree thermostat. The car idled at 86 celcius for about 2 weeks now my car is idling again at high temps. I cant correct air/fuel mixtures without the cars temp correct. Any suggestions?

maybe you should get a mazda thermostat and also just check to see if your thermo sensor is woking. also i think that the fan clutch can go bad too(not too sure though)
