You know after reading your post I did some research and realized it is pretty rare. From the photos it looks like an aftermarket purple color, but in the true light it is not bad at all

5500 is a little to much for me, but I wish some of my interior plastic was in that good of shape.

No worries there. Andre the giant would not approve.

While I'm at it, what kind of supercharger options (effective ones) are available for for the s4?

Finally.

I'm going to see the car Tuesday afternoon. Can't wait to see it in person. I imagine my thread is probably dead by now, but thought I'd update in case anybody was wondering what was going on.

btw, where are you guys in the ville sittin at? I never see any 7's around here (with the exception of the torn up TII I saw at a dealership at the corner of Outer Loop and National Tnpk.)

Congrats, hope it works out for ya. But in regards to your question about superchargers on NA's, it has been done a few times, though it is a major fabrication job. Search a bit and youll find a few cars that had recieved Camden chargers, though there was a 7 that saw a millenia supercharger.

Cool, thnx First.

Well, just went out and saw the car today (near 3 hour drive) and it was every bit worth it. This thing was butter. The only thing that is wrong with the funcionality at all is frozen 5/6 ports, I could fix that though. He and his wife are gonna talk about the price, and he is gonna get back to me in the next couple of days.

Meanwhile, I'm gonna polish my truck up, get it ready to sell if its gonna be sold.

It's really nice and all, but please don't pay $5.5k for it... Check out the classifieds if you're not convinced. Or maybe have him check them out if he really thinks his car is worth that much.

I'm not gonna pay that much for it, he and I both knew that was overpriced. That's how you do it though, you put a decently high price up there, then you talk it down to what you both think is reasonable. I know his wife just wants it gone (its taking her garage spot) lol

Okay, so he talked about it with his wife... and his bottom dollar mark for it is 5k. He claims he checked autotrader, other 7's blah blah blah, but I know for a fact (kbb) that the retail for the vehicle in this condition is no more than 4.3k.

There is showing rust at the end of the exhaust (both sides), the hood, front left quarter panel, and left light cover have no clearcoat (his stepbrother). I did a KBB private party inquiry on the vehicle (giving the car a little more credit than the site suggested) and the suggested price is $4170.00 in GOOD condition. Mind you, in excellent condition, the suggested price is $4570.00.

I'm going to send him an email asking him to go to the KBB site and to do a private party value check, hopefully he will see things as they are and bring the price down. I'm not really sure I can drop 5k on this car right now, having to still sell my truck.

I think I might just have an FCeizure. I also think I'm starting to lean towards biding my time and trying to find a turbo.

Anybody have any thoughts?

the red with blue lighting looks great. I kinda like the look of a purple FC. Seriously if you want power go TII if you just want a fun car with moderate power that GXL is looking really good.

Bought the car primered, and the damage was from someone hitting me. I plan to fix that soon.
