hey guys.. this morning i started my car. and it reved up as usual (the typical warm up rev to three grand) and slowly reved back down. but as i notice. my tech wasn't even moving.. it stayed on the zero the whole time as if i never started my car.. and after a few mins. (like one or two after) the tech bounce into its place and worked fine then.. i remember hearing somthing like this on the fourm before.. i tried searching and nothing.. so you guys got any imput or advice to this mishaps.? no modd or anything was done.. what could have caused this.? thanks guy..

1) trailing coils/igniter sends the tach pulse signal, so check it first for loose connections & a good ground (metal-to-metal contact from igniter body to chassis)
2) if the rest of the gauges are working, then you've got a good fuse/power/ground to the tach- they all use the same sources (unless it's a connection at the back of the tach itself)
