Tech help plz on TB

Ok, quick tech question for you guys. I was out working on the 91 today working on the TPS to help adjust my idle and noticed something....out of place. There are 2 lines that run to the TB area that look like Throtle Lines. ( the line to the gas peddle ) One runs from the driveer side fire wall and into the TB and controls the throttle. The second one is broken and looks like it runs from the same area on the TB but over to the passenger side into this motor looking thing mounted on the side. Now what does this do exactly? ? ? I hope its something to do with the idle control but i'm not sure on it. Anyone know, wish I could do pics but the digi cam is still MIA.

The cruise control on my 86 N/A was bolted (or right in that area, I forget) onto the firewall in front of the passenger. It had a cable identical to the throttle cable running into the TB which I believe attaches right next to where the throttle cable does (was unhooked when I bought the car).

Ok, then it is probaly the Cruise Controle and nothing more. The line is disconnected and I never use it anyway, more weight reduction yay.
Thanks for the help
