Am I the only one who hasn't gotten any Team FC3S mail in over a week? I tried resubscribing, but apparently that wasn't the problem as it didn't work.

Just curious...

 

No youre not alone. The list must be down. Ive talked to a couple of other members and they have gotten no mail either. Looks like that server finally took a permanent ****, and there is not really anyone to fix it from my understanding(I dont think there has been an actual moderator/administrator of the list for a couple of years).

 

hmm I hadn't even noticed... I know I got some a week ago. I just tried sending a msg and it went through with no problems. lets see if we get it.

 

Ive not reciegved anything in over a week. I have sent things in, but never recieved my own posts back.

 

It's been dead for a while now.

OK, well, I'm not alone. This sucks.

 

I just read on the teamfc3s webboard that "87GTR" is working on the list. Said he had to shut it down for a while, because it is being moved to another server. SO maybe it will be back up after a while.

I sorta miss it, but its not like there has been a wealth of information floating around on there over the last year. When I first joined 3 years ago there were as many as 40-50 messages a day. Recently there has been less than 1/3 that.

 

unfortunately everyone found this forum.. and there the story goes.

Seems the list is back up, partially at least. I recieved 5 posts in the last hour.

 

Unfortunately? Why is it unfortunate that the guys on the list found the forum?

A lot of them know their ****, it would be nice to have a few more of them here.

 

I post on that forum once in a while, but don't go too often, since it is basically a small percentage of the same topics posted here.

 

We're talking about the email list, not the forum. And it appears to be back up. Hoo-ray!

 

yeah, I know it was about the e-mail list, but I'm not a part of thay.

 

i guess i just like team fc3s better for technical info. ive been on that board for about 2 or so years and they are focused on the technical questions rather than "is my girlfriend as fat as your girlfriend" type questions.

that board was definitly more focused and there was good vibe on it. more so than i would say here..

i dunno im old fashioned lol

I kinda agree. I get all of my good technical info from the list. I kinda wish this place was a bit more like that, but I don't think that'll ever happen.

 

List is back, baybeee!

 

Team FC3s has being neglected for a while, actually it is one of the main reasons that "FC3s.org" was initiated, some of you might remember that there were some flaming going on back and forth and as far as I can recall it hasn't being the same since.

I remember some of that.

I stayed out of it until somebody went after me for some incredibly pety reason. I took one good shot back and shortly after left the list for a while.

If somebody is gonna flame me changing the subject line in a thread and going off on a slight tangent then I'm not going to stick around.

I like the way the list is right now.
