My taillights are both out, brake lights still work. Any suggestions?

my dash lights are out, where exactly is the dimmer control? I have an 88 convert and cant locate it anywhere. I figure thats what I should look at first.

 

Please read the FAQ for FC sticky thread found at the top of this the 2nd gen RX-7 technical section. Many of the commonly asked questions (such as the one you started this thread with) are covered there.

 

Twist the inner **** of the headlight switch for the dimmer.

 

Check your fuses, the dash lights and the tail lights are on the same fuse.

 

its a fried headlight switch...take it out and take off the plastic side of it, you will see fried solder in the circuit board
