Tail light cleaning questions

I got some series 5 tail lights im trying to save they are in good condition except it has one cloudy spot in the corner and there is still some dirt in the lens. I washed it out with the hose and everything but didnt help much. So i have two questions.

1. Whats the best thing to clean it out with? maybe some engine degreasser or something.

2. If i take apart the tailights is it hard to put them back together? cause i see a couple screws on them and never really thought about taking it apart to get at the spots better.

I use IPA swished around the inside to clean them... works really well as it is hygroscopic so it helps clear up any moisture. For the outside buffing is really the only choice and it is hard to ever match what a rotary buffer can do by hand.

Isopropyl alcohol? AKA rubbing alcohol.
