T2 rotors in a N/A core?

is it even possible?? i have my old t2 core sitting out back and am currently driving an 87 sport with 173K miles. the engine runs flawless but knowing sometime in the future a rebuilt is in order or replacement, i was wondering if the rotors will work with a non turbo core? i love boost but am considering large streetport and supercharging it. anyone ever done this? i have done little research on this so im sorry if this has already been talked about. any suggestions/advice is valued. thanks Jeff

Why would you do this? The T2 rotors are low compression rotors and your N/A rotors are high compression. It would make much more sense to put your N/A rotors in your T2 core. Just my $0.02.

yeh..you can use t2 rotors in you na core..becasue when i was gonna get boosted this guy said i could either do whole swap, or build me a ported turbo motor with my 87 gxl block..and if people start flaming..they dont know **** because this was told to me by jim fom jpr imports, very VERY respectable rotary builder in nj/pa/ny area..it will be cheaper but yiu have to swap other little hings//do some searches..later, ROB

i put the na rotors in the turbo motor. makes it much more responsive and better power. just gotta watch the tune closer. even if you plan on big street port and sc i would still take the higher comp rotors.

its quite common to put t2 rotors in a n/a motor but it wouldent make much sense to do so unless you plan on boosting ur car.if u do plan to do so they yes it would be worth it . but in PR there are alot of high compression turbo rotaries doing nice numbers at the race track.
