T2 rear end swap

T2 rear end swap

When talking about swapping the N/As rear end into a T2, exactly wat parts do u need, do u need the whole rear end or could just get the 3rd member assembly.. also has anyone done this, if so let me know about it....thanks

you need the whole 'pumpkin' and halfshafts, and the right driveshaft. and n/a driveshaft wont work.

So once i have the whole pumpkin and the halfshafts and the right driveshaft(Turbo II), the rest would bolt up to the rest of the rear end (N/A).

yes, the subframe that you bolt the differential too is the same for n/a and t2 and the other two mounts are the same and the halfshafts will still connect to the n/a hubs which are the same too. if you have an n/a tranny though, a normal t2 driveshaft wont work.
