T2 Problems

I am having an intermittent problem with my 90 t2 that I just picked up and hoping you guys can shed some light. Every now and again, the engine feels as though it is losing half its power and runs extremely rough, with some white smoke out the exhaust at low rpms. Sometimes going past 4k will cause the power to kick back in, and generally, this problem goes away and the car will run fine for days. The boost gauge shows under these circumstances about only half the usual boost (~5 psi). Some info about the car is a s5 streetport engine (5k miles old), stock turbo with ported wastegate, haltech ecu, walboro pump, and turbo back exhaust. An interesting side note that may or may not be related, is this seems to start while driving at low speed with lots of corners. So any ideas? thanks!

Change out your fuel filter and run some cleaner thru the tank.
Sounds like the filter getting clogged under light pressure then when it releases the clog allowing it to run good untill it clogs again.
If you change it out and it still do the same thing then atleast you know the fuel system is clean.

Have you tested your ignition coils?
