Question T2 Manifold coating question

I am running a stock T2 manifold and I want to make it look a little better considering its on a show car. I thought about having it jet coated. The problem is I have read articals that say its not a good idea to jet coat turbo manifolds because they cannot dissapate heat fast enough and cause them to crack sooner. Have any T2 owners out there coated their manifolds, and how has it worked out for you.

If you get it coated, make sure that the inside and outside are coated. Coating the outside will help toast the manifold. Make sure that you are using a coating that can take the heat of the hot rotary exhaust. Usually its an upgrade over the normal coatings and isn't available in the prettiest colors. In this situation function is more important than form. But, being a show car, form might be more important than function.

Is this your personal experience with jethot? Was it the jethot1300 or 2000? Was this the outside coating?
