I daily drove my TII for many many miles. Like 30,000 in the last year! I even used it for some auto-x events during that time as well.
I would drive it anywhere from 40-150 miles a day, no problems. I even drove it on a business trip to Vegas, ended up about 1500miles total that trip, no problems except a blown fuse. And this is on a car with 175,000+miles on the original engine!!
I would still be driving it if I hadn't decided it was time to rebuild the engine

i drive mine daily about 90-100 miles. it is modded and putting out about 230-240RWHP and seems to be very reliable so far but i maintain it and check things over almost daily to make sure everything is working correctly.
^reminds me, i autocross my car too. hasn't seemed to affect the reliability.

Mine has been my daily driver for 18 years, and I think it's pretty dependable. The car only has a measly 140K miles on it, so I think it has a lot more to give. I currently drive it about 10 miles to work (each way), a combination of city and highway miles. I drive very hard, and autocrossed it for several years. I'll use wheelspin if need be, but I never shift hard so as to beat the syncros. I don't hesitate to use the car for trips, and look forward to those rare business trips when I can drive it and get paid mileage.
The car's very rare breakdowns have always been a result of faulty electrical wiring or connections--the turbo has never caused problems.
Now, one big exception to all the above is that my "O" rings failed in a spectacular way when I was 400 miles from home, returning from a business trip. The car then sat for about 2 1/2 years waiting for me to fix it.

My 10AE is my daily driver, exept I haven't driven it in over 250 days! Soon though.
I'm wondering if I wouldn't be happier with the simplicity of a nice Miata....

I drive my TII at least 100 miles a day. to school, then to work, then home 5days a week and on the weekends its a total of about 300 so it gets plenty of use. reliable so far but i havent had it long so i cant really say much

I hope mine will be, I just got a TII that is not runing and I'm planing to rebuild, In the past I've had like 5 na's and they all were very reliable. The only time I can recall a problem was when I flooded my 86 na and it was my fault, then got it running again with no problems.

Yeah. What I said earlier wasn't very clear. The car 's fixed, and runs great (I just hit 1000 miles on the rebuild). I drove my wife's 93 Miata while my car was down--the Miata's nice, but I like the RX7 10 times better.

I drive my N/A everyday.....can I take part in this thread??
My family car is my Trooper and my wifes Olds Minivan. But all my customer meetings are in the 7. I have 1600 miles on the fresh rebuild. Runs great. The car is getting reconditioned during the process, its a lot of fun

I drive my modded Turbo vert to and from school every day. It's a 60 mile round trip. I had some problems related to the swap for the first couple of weeks, but haven't had any thing major since. I used to commute with this car when it was n/a, and it gave me alot of headaches. I had to replace my tranny, rear end and engine before the n/a motor reached 140k. I'll just have to see how this turbo drivetrain holds up(well I hope).

How you like the Miata? I just sold mine for the TII and I know I'll miss it, it was a 1994 M, great car and terrific handling, there is nothing like a SEVEN

I like all aspects of the RX7 better. It's faster, smoother, quiter, more refined, and more fun at the limit. Plus, I've always been fascinated by the idea of a turbocharged rotary engine, as both components thrive at high rpms.
