Picked her up yesturday. Havn't done much except remove most of the random stuff. Powersteering/AC/lights/fenders/bumper/hood

Going to finish up on removing the AC pipes today then start working on the interior

Will start ordering parts next week not sure where I'm going to start getting ready to make a list and will post it up here when completed

Question #1 what is the thing in picture #1

You got busy quick, enjoy the car. If you have any trouble with it, holler. The white piece you painted needs to be tack welded back in. I used the sheetmetal screws for positioning only.

Enjoy.

Purchased the car from trochoid btw

real good guy and pleasure to work with

Few parts for sale https://www.rx7club.com/showthread.php?t=558021 Need some money to start working on the suspension

Me and the guy who is helping me build her decided were going to go in this order.

#1 - Suspension (All new shocks/springs and other things that need replaced/fixed)
#2 - Brakes [Going with the brake kit off rx7.com (easiest considering I can just buy it and be done with it)]
#3 - Rear end (Can't decided If I wana replace the diff or not, going to have to read up on it somemore. Got to remove the fuel tank and scrub it out and then work on the fuel system)
#4 - Cooling (Radiator/FMIC/Dual oil cooler possibly)

Thats about all thats in my budget for right now and should be done within the next month or two.

Any comments are greatly appreciated. This is my first car to be rebuilding and basically to work on to a extreme so I'm kinda new to this except for everything I've read.

question #2

Whats this? Its in the bottom passenger side. Something to do with the headlights? Its not in my N/A.

It goes directly into the harness and connects to nothing else and doesn't look like anything can be connected to it. I don't know where it was bolted it was just hanging there
