T II starter question

I'm currently swapping a T II motor into something non-Mazda and the starter solenoid placement has become a pretty major issue. On the T II the solenoid hangs down and would require a HUGE cut in the frame for clearance, if I can come up with a starter that puts it on top that would fix the problem. So far as I can tell, there is no starter that will bolt to a T II bellhousing that puts the solenoid up top. I can fix the whole thing by using an N/A transmission but would really like to keep the T II if possible. Anybody have any ideas?

If you can use an NA tranny to fix your problem, couldn't you just use a NA Starter on the TII Tranny? There seems to be a lot of interchangeability between NA and TII from what I've read and experienced so far.
