i can't see it working much worse than the stock TII hood, we did it and noticed some of the same effects rx7racerca mentioned. oh and that was with a TII hood, because it was still heat soaking. but we're talking about a 500whp turbo car, not a 150whp n/a.
135 whp thank you very much. just had to put my 2 cents in.
YYAfter a lot of thought I am going to have my Turbo Hood Carbon Fiber vinyl wrapped. I have done some little accents in carbon fiber look and I think it will flow good together.

usually i could tell if a car was non turbo, i would ask them if it was turbocharged just to make them feel bad and rethink their decision and then say "nice GXL" (or whatever else you spot) though as i pointed to the badges that gave it away.
you know, like the guys who put those turbo stickers on their non turbo cars and whistles up their tailpipe.
it is a valid question here though, the turbo hood does give the car a meaner aesthetic look. but putting a turbo hood on a 4 lug base model for example, doesn't do you or your car any service. i spot things like that in a millisecond and then the eyes roll.
Oh Cmon Karack my car is a 4 lug 2 and i have a t2 hood lol!
I have 2 agree that is useless and that my engine bay gets dirty very quick.
Lets see what else different you can spot on my car looking at the pics.

what are those wheels and what are the offsets/specs, I really like that look, very clean sir.
sportmax 962.dont remember the offset but they are 17x10 on the rear and 17x7 up front with 295/40/17 and 225/45/17.They do fit flush and it sits on tein coilovers. This is a old picture.Car now has s5 turbo sideskirts(paint matched of course)carbon fiber right hand side headlight cover, carbon fiber mazdazpeed front lip, carbon fiber exhaust guard cover, carbon fiber sunroof and gas lid.
well here it is, I painted it black to see if I would like the offset of the black and red or maybe carbon fiber wrap and red. I'm digging the black but I am still undecided. Leave it black or carbon fiber wrap it or paint it red. Decisions decisions what to do.

The black hood works. A stock rear spoiler and a front lip would lend it some balance imo.

I do have a spoiler factory spoiler I just hate to drill holes. A front lip is somethimg that is on the list. After a couple of days I have decided to paint it red to match the car.

Well here it is, just need to do some polishing and its finished. I guess I will roch the T2 hood and if I get bores with it I will put the NA back on.
