Yes. Of course it means welding in a different mount, adapting the 2nd gen to carb or the earlier EFI, dealing with the exhaust, etc. It's not a drop in.

 

possibly off subject, but it seems like there's a racing class that runs 12As in 2nd gens.

but yea, if you can run a 396, an sr20, an F20, a 302, a 350, a grand national, turbo v8, 20B, etc, then you can run a 12A. like the others, its not drop-in.

 

you can do anything w/money but whywoudl you want to go to a 12a? Your losing displacement and the FC is not as light as a FB
