Switching 87 Turbo with S5 GXL Exhausts...

Right now i have an RB exhaust from the downpipe back...
I would like to put back on the stock exhaust and i have a friend that has a completly stock 87 Turbo II exhaust..
If we were to unbolt it from the end of the downpipe would everything swap onto each others cars nice?
Would all the flanges and stuff hook up right?

Thanks

Let me get this straight... you are trying to stick an NA stock exhaust setup on your T2?

It's not going to work without modification. But it's hard to say, since you have a downpipe, which isn't going to be stock. If you're leaving the old downpipe and want to just connect the catback (y pipe and mufflers) up to it, you might be able to do it if your downpipe terminates in the exact same place as a stock catalytic converter would. I'm not that familiar with turbo exhaust setups, but I think the catbacks are interchangeable, although the NA is quite a bit more restrictive. The turbo makes the exhaust quieter, so turbo exhausts can be less restrictive, while NA's are just LOUD.
