switched plug wires. HELP!

Ok guys this is an odd problem that just doesn't really make much sense to me. a friend of mine bought a none running T2. To say the least it's a wiring nightmare. It has a efan, safc2, profec B ebc, turbo timer, and probably a few other electrical gadgets wired in. The thing is, he had the car towed to my house so I could get it running. I had him get a set of block off plates and a few sets of new plugs, got it started(kinda) it would run but obviously the plug wires were mixxed up from the sounds it would make while turning over and trying to start almost like it would crank then when it would fire it would take a step backwards. It would however start and run like **** for a few seconds like this. Anyhow I tryed to start it on just the trailing plugs, wouldn't start, I switched the plug wires around and it fired up. This is assuming that STOCK T1 goes to the front rotor, and T2 goes to the rear. The only way the car would run pretty close to correctly is with T2 on the front rotor, and T1 on the rear. If anyone has any input please help. .this is baffling to me. The only thing I can think of would be somehting got fucked up when they did the turbo timer wiring. . .I don't know

I had the exact same prob. Put your plug wires in thier defualt locations, grab some carb cleaner, and spray the hell outta your hoses. (Mine happened to be obvious) but yours could be inconspicuous.

Your ignition timing must be way off. Pull your CAS and try restabing it.

The car should start and run without the trailings even hooked up.

Disconnect them, hook up the leadings, clear the flooded engine and try starting.
