Question Sway bar sizes?

I have an '86 GXL and I just picked up a set of sway bars from a turbo model, after being told they're better. (A board member was nice enough to give them to me.)

What size are the stock bars on the different models? Does anyone know? The options charts in Icemark's thread don't seem to cover this.

I think that the GXL, TII, and Sport sway bars are the largest that came stock. So if I remember properly they are the same. try linning them up side by side and seeing if they are the same thickness. If so they are the same.

The T2, vert, and Sport/88GTU bars should be the same (the thicker bars) while the base, luxury, SE and GXL should use the smaller bars.

Are they interchangable?
