swapping my 6 ported engine into 1988 GTU frame...

just wondering if there be anything at all that would be hard to install? Im putting everything from my 1988 GXl including the tranny and lsd and all that stuff... I had this question because looking at the 1988 GTU frame it had a temperature gauge. AND my gxl didnt have one of these.. so i was wondering if the gtu frame had some stuff that I might need to rearrange. WHere will i connect this wire or where is the wire and where to connected to for my car to be able to read the temperature?

Are you talking about the Coolant Sender Unit at the driverside, below the Oil Sender Unit with one prong sticking out of It? This relays to the Instrument Cluster. The Harness Plug wire Is Yellow with a White stripe.
