Swaping out leading coil for trailing ?

I asked in the haltech forums a few days ago with no answer so maybe some else may have a answer here. I have 2 bad leading coils with ignitors still working . Was wondering if I could swap out the leading coil it's self with a trailing coil on each leading coil mount and ignitor . And wire both to the signal for the haltech . Is this possible or am I wrong . Thanks guys . Trying to get my hx52 build finished up with a e6k haltech

The coils are the same except for the cap on top. You can remove the dual plug wire cap on the bad leading coil and swap it over to the good trailing coil and just mount it to the leading coil igniter.
