Hey guy, I just finished my GTU to TII swap and ran into a little problem. I bought the Banzai Engine mount, and the driver side mount wont line up to the engine by at least a 1/4 of an inch (passenger side is fine) even though the transmission is bolted to the engine and tranny bolted to the frame. HELP.

the mounts can slide on the bracket, id suggest not tightening any of them until everything is in. Thats all i could think of.

 

Yea on the passenger side it can slide, the driver side only have a hole to it.

 

Simply back the bolt off that is in the mount, until it is almost flush with the top, drop the engine, tighten the bolt up. If the P-side lines up and the D-side is still off with the bracket loosened and the bolt flush, then start looking for damage to the subframe.

 

I'll try that, and the frame look good to me.
