hmmm... i just baught tokiko hps and tanabe sustec springs for 480 total from rxecret7.com that seems to be what racingbeat is charging for the kyb agxs by themselves and with my budget i have no problem sacrificing adjustability for springs instead.
edit: the tokikos are only 340 from rxecret7.com

 

The tokicos are more expensive because of higher quality(debatable) and a great warranty(worth the extra money in my opinion).

 

I guess I am still debating on if I want adjustable or not. The price differences are not HUGE, so I fell like I should get the adjustable just in case I ever autox. hmm descisions descisions...

 

Regarding the Pro-Kit, fine if people use them, but that doesn't change the concensous that progressives are not as good as linear springs.

Taking the 6 bolts front, 3 rear to remove the shocks doesn't make you that much closer to finishing the ordeal of pulling the suspension appart, dropping the rear subframe, etc.

Lots of people are quiet happy with their AGXs. Shop around on the Illuminas, eg. the rx7store.net sells them for "$129/strut" (front vs. rear they don't say).

 

The bushings are more of a necessity than an upgrade at this point. I am actualy missing one and the others are so bad they need to go. I've known I need to replace them for some time now, but I don't have a free weekend to do it. but now i have to.
Does anyone know where to get the Hyperflex bushings? I know where to find the prothane. I just wnat to price shop.

I've known alot of people that use the AGX's, and if you lower your car at all, they blow out within one year.. I would personally go with the Illuminas, leave your speakers out for a week and dial them in how you want them. Adjusting your struts all the time isn't a great idea since you never quite get used to them.. The Konis are a good option also if you want to go through the work of installing them..

these are all things I need to do when I get the money and time to install.

My $.02: I will probably get the illuminas (Can't beat the waranty), RB Susp. kit (not sure if I need the rear sway bar, I already have one back there), and some poly bushings (mine are shot too). Ij know it won't be cheap, and I can barely drive the seven due to these (and Other) problems that are all jumping out at one tiem.

 

The Hyperflex kit can be bought from a wide varity of places. Off the top of my head eg. Summit, Victoria British. Search on google for 'rx7 hyperflex' and I'm sure something will come up.

Every FC has sway bars but I believe some of them are a thicker diameter than others. The RB ones are thicker than TII bars.

 

just save up the $1200 for tein full adjustable coilovers. My friend put the on his 240, and dam that thing is the ****. I love how 7's handles stock, I"d just get a full set of polyurethane bushings and some tires, I found a full poly bushing set for $89.
