Suspension setup question

Has anyone used Illuminas with Eibach Ground Controls? I have the setup but yet to install it. I think I may have changed my mind. I may go real coilovers. I dont want to install it and not be happy. I will be running 255 rear and 235 front tires and want to be able to get rid of the understeer.

the brand of suspension in itself will not cure oversteer or understeer. your dampers are adjustable, and thats as much of a help as any coilover will give. instead try chassis bracing, rear dtss eliminators, sway bars, and most of all, proper alignment.

the GC stuff uses an off the shelf spring, if you want softer or stiffer springs, they are totally available and inexpensive.

if your spring rates are normal (350ish/250ish) the tokicos should be fine, stiffer and you might be better off with a koni.

the JDM stuff is a just lot more money

IMO Illuminas are the best struts out for street driving. I was thinking there might be someone out there with this combo or had some experience with it. 'real" coilovers are great but I dont want to kill my *** on a 2 hour trip.
