suspension - problem or coincidence?

Well I have a 88 Vert. When I got it, it came with Tokico blue/RB spring combo all around. The front drivers side always seemed to sag a little lower than the rest.

Well I just picked up a Tein coilovers, and installed them. I didnt notice right away, but the same thing is happening, to the same side. Before I installed them, they all looked to be about the same height.

So, my question is - Is this likely just the coilovers not all riding level, or is it possible that there is something wrong on the cars suspension?

How much of a difference is it? You would almost need to have it corner weighted to first verify it's not just a weight imbalance.

When I installed my KYB struts, they were uneven too. I emailed TireRack and the Tech informed me that the struts didn't affect ride hight, the springs did, but that the struts still needed to ride under the weight of the car for a bit to even them out.
During shipping, oil will settle and it will not rebound as designed until it is cycled a few times while under the load of the vehicle.
After a few miles, they still looked off and the Tech asked what the distance was from the center of the wheel to the top of the wheel well. I measured and decided that I could live with 1/8th of an inch difference.
I haven't checked recently, but then again, I haven't looked at the car and though it looked crooked recently either.

Do coilovers use the stock strut mounts? If so, maybe the high side is misaligned, maybe the low side is shot? Are both white dots inboard and facing front?
If they don't use stock mounts, I'm not sure where to tell you to look.
All the best,
~j
