KYB shocks + ground control coilovers is a popular alternative to super expensive Tein or Stance coilovers if you were thinking of going that route. If you're not going to go to the track much or don't have much money, a decent set of lowering springs (figure out how much you want to drop it and read some reviews) and some new shocks (do some research and figure out which ones sound good to you) would probably be fine. Also a lot of people recommend replacing all the bushings.

**** KYB

i run JIC FLT-A2 w upgraded monotube

they are rebuild able, easy to adjust and on the cheaper side of comp worthy coils

tiens are too rugged for my likeing, they are stiffer than JIC, but for a car built for the twisties its not needed.

edfc is pointless, its just another ricer mod company's brainwash you to purchase

and if your not gonna track the car why buy coils or struts, or agx for that matter, if its for ricer looks just buy some cheap Gr2'd and the first lowering springs you see in import tuner

LOL! Here we go with this guy again. You'd think KYB raped his sheep and did something mean to his Mother...or is it the other way around?

=)

no you don't, but a lot of people seem to use it, and to the best of my knowledge, only 1 person has had a problem with it, that I've heard of. Percentages, people, percentages.

That being said, I've always liked Koni or Bilstein for shocks.

^ thats good, but do you see my point, stock FC suspension is good enough as it is ...... unless you are tracking the car. if you just wanna be lowered for looks on the cheap shoot your self because you are making the suspension worse.

bilstein and koni are great if you are real competitive, but then again thats only a handful of drivers.

some owners want way more than they need and waste a **** load of money and make room for half assed product lines to come up, that ricers swear buy and endorse
and make every car enthusiast look like an ***.

if you cant do it right GTOF

GTOF huh?

I like my Teins personally. Much better than the stock suspension I had on there--and yeah, I'm planning on getting the EDFC. Why? Because it's something that I think will be quite useful so I don't have to pop my hood or remove my speakers to adjust the dampeners.

Again, not one specific suspension setup will work for everyone else. I've ridden in an FC with a Stance suspension and they seemed okay, but not as firm as the Teins I have even then though the stance has a higher spring rate. Dunno why, but just how it seems to me. Take it for what it's worth.

I can't speak for the other types of setups because I have no first hand knowlede of them, however they all have their advantages and disadvantages.
