supercharging vs turbo with carb setup

Well the time is getting close for me to afford an atkins supercharger for my RX-2 but now I am having second thoughts. For the same amount of money (~3000) for the atkins setup I could get a T2 engine, intercooler, etc. The deal is I really dont want to go to fuel injection and have to worry about electronics and wiring (since I went to 13B a while back). Sooooo is it feasible to setup a T2 motor with a carb setup? and if so how does this work and who makes the components? Anyone running this setup?

Blow through carb turbos suck big time. EFI is the way to go. Trust me, its worth the effort.
