Question nitrous or supercharger?

Im pretty new on this board and haven't seen too many supercharged vehicles. Right now Im running a low 15 second 1/4 mile and I hope to see some high 14's with a turbo fuel pump and some proper Dyno tuning. Ive asked several people about upgrading to a supercharger, and they say it can be done, and Ill probably run mid 12's. This all gets kinda pricey, so I want to know if anybody thinks I'll get a similar power gain from something a little more affordable like nitrous. Alll suggestions welcome....thanks!
