Supercharger on a 13b ?

Supercharger on a 13b ?
hi, im from australia, i was just thinking of supercharging an rx7 s4/5. any one got any ideas on it, cos a super charger and a blower comming out of the bonnet would look preatty damn good, there would be no turbo lag, and more torque. any suggestions ?

There is a guy who built his own intake and mounted a supercharger on his 13B back in the mid/late 80's for his drag car.
His name is Andy Mears and he is shop manager at Mears Mazda in Lubbock, Texas.
He would be a good source of info.

wow, I think Austrilia is the king of supercharged rotaries. I also see the "big blower intake" cars in the Australian mags.
