Supercharge project car started - questions

Ok the project is almost complete. I catually started the car today and blew off one of my hoses at 3000 rpm's.

Anyway to the questions. I have a M90 like zbrown. Where do I hook up the psi guage (I ran it into the hose after the supercharger and it is reading 20 psi at 3000 rpm is that possible? also I tried hooking up a bypass valve off of a turbo II and it doe not seem to work very well. this is the only thing I am using, how can I get rid of some more of the pressure at idle and when I let off the accelerator.

I also had to se my percentages really high on the safc II to get the car into a rich state on the air fuel guage.

I noticed for the 200 feet I drove it that after 2000 rpm's it bogged. could backed up cats do this ( I am changing to a header and presilencer next weekend along with new mufflers.

Thanks for the help and any comments

By the way, I did use a 6 rib belt. I welded a pulley to the outermost pulley off the crank that was the same diamater as the crank pulley, and left the pulley that came on the M90 off the the t-bird on it.

The bypass valve is a shitty way of using the charger, and it's terribly innefciant. What diamater is your 'welded' pulley (in inches), and the what is the diameter of the M90 pulley? (again, in inches)

yeah that could potentially be bad times if you were really running 20psi..

it ******* bogs because you are probably running 20psi with stock injectors.

20psi would be roughly 800cfm, depending on if it's intercooled, but the M90 isn't capable of that. Chances are you're overspinning the **** out of it (which is why i need to know your pulley sizes).

He's probably got something like a 4" on the crank and a 2" on the charger...

if what you say is correct, you wouldnt be making 20psi so quickly, what is the diameter of the pipes your using on the outlet of the charger?

boost guage install

I think i is showing that much because the guage is not in the right spot. Should it be "T"ed into the vacume line, right now it is not and I do not have the install instructions.

So while you're trying to get pics and everything, could you also try to get some pics of the mounting bracket? Side mounting it like that is what i was considering doing (back when i had money) and would like to see some pics of your bracket.

Also, since you seemed to have disconnected your pressure sensor, what else did you disconnect? Depending on what's missing could be why you bogged down.
