sunroof is stuck... arg... i love the sun
I cant get my sunroof open. One day, before the winter, it just wouldnt open up anymore, so i just left it over the winter. one side of the roof tries to go, but the other wont, the motor is going fine. the drivers side of the roof just wont move, only the passenger side starts to open as far as it can. i know the motor is ok. i tried pushing up and prying but the one side just will not open, it will move some but wont go the direction it needs to go....
thanks for the help (im just full of questions today)

WD-40, spray everywhere you can, if you have too take off the plastic cover and put a socket on there and give it a twist, i still have to push mine upwards to get it to open, if all else fails rebuild, seach for a topic on this a few months old, directs how to get the hole thing out in it. good luck.

I wouldn't use WD-40. Use some carb cleaner to clean it out really well and then use white lithum(sp?) grease to lube it. Don't get the lithium (sp?) spray cuz it reaks.
