Can someone tell how to remove the sunroof from a 88 gxl without breaking it. it wont open at all with the switch or with an allen wrench. it is rusted bad. there are holes in it and rain comes pouring in, and it rains alot in florida.

 

Remove headliner.
Remove motor and all accessories.
Rivet or weld roof shut.
Re-install headliner.

I say weld FROM THE INSIDE a peice of metal placed on the inside of the roof, then bondo the outside smooth, thus giving you a good look AND A GOOD SEAL
