Question Sunroof removal?

Ive searched but cant seem to come up with anything for sunroof removal. Im trying to remove the entire assembly and replace it so was wondering how to get all the carpeting/interior off so I can access the bolts holding it in. I have a frequent tendency of breaking interior clips so id rather have some advance notice before i run into any Thanks.

i have taken my interior out, and the part around the sunroof is one of the only things left intact when i took it out. simple explaination: remove all the plastic trim around the headboard thing dealy (cant remember the right term) and then just remove the thing as a whole. the trim/weather striping comes off real easy so you can take the center piece out after that.

There are 5-7 (can't remember exactly) push tabs that retain the trim on the sunroof Itself. After popping them off carefully, starting from the front, pull It forward to relieve It from the little tab that positions It to begin with. (found at the rear). It's cardboard based below the Interior. So take your time.

i did it to my 88se when I had to fix it last year.
Take the interior roof lining out. Carefull with those damn plastic tabs everywhere.

it's not hard to take out when you look at it.
There are a few connectors to unhook then just start unbolting. Just look aournd the edges to locate the ones that look like they hold it up.

Sorry for being vague but I did it last year. I did it the first week of ever owning an RX7. So it's not hard.

For the interior trim I used some hook tools to get around the little clips. I broke most of though lol.

the front liner plastic has like 3-4 screws under plastic caps. then for the side there is like 2 screws and a clip in the middle of the windshield on the pillar.
try to apply a force as close to the plug/clips so you dont snap em off. they should pop out. Try to do it with out taking it all off though.
