I have an 89 TII, and the motor on the sunroof is not working. I know that, and don't particularly care. However, it was leaking as well, so in order to solve that problem, I opened it manually and put a new seal on it. Well, after getting it on nicely, and closing it back up, it seems the sunroof does not close completely flush with the roof. It seems to be sealing up alright, as no water leaked in after washing, but it sticks out now. Is there a way to adjust the height on it? Is this something normal that Im being **** about?

I cranked it all the way, and it does not seem to have anymore to go, so it is "shut". Any ideas would be welcome. I'm going to pop into my garage right now to look at it again.

 

OK, it wasn't as bad as I remembered it, but it is a bit raised on the driver's side and toward the front. Is there some sort of height adjustment? Ah well, it will have to wait until tomorrow, Im going to bed.
