Is it the sunroof motor or what?

My sunroof moves really slow and needs a little push to get started back, also needs to be "helped" the whole way to close. My battery has a good charge and i'm curious to wiether many others have had the same problem and how it was resolved. I'm assuming the motor may be on its last leg. Also my p/windows seem to be somewhat slower than they should be, what if any kind of grease should be used and where should it be applied? Thanks you guys are awesome.

Make sure the tracks that the sunroof rides on are cleared of debris. Stuff caught in there can really slow it down. As for the power windows, mine have always been slow, so I dunno about those.

Spray some lithium grease on both tracks in the sunroof assembly. The windows prolly need the same thing, a little grease in the tracks.

Tracks are sticky. Clean them good. I have to do it every year or so.

Until one day i tried to open it and only one side would move... i don;'t know if something is jamming the left side but the dam thing won't open anymore. are there 2 motors in the sunroof or one for the whole thing ?

When only one side of my sunroof would move, my dad and I took it out. We found out it was a broken cable on the side that didnt move. Part is about $130 from Mazda. It sucks replacing it too.
