Summit overflow tank installation

Hi everyone, I am currently moving stuff from the passenger side front over to the driver's side in order to install a custom air intake pipe. The horns I have moved over, as well as relocated the relays, but the overflow tank is sort of cumbersome, so I am going to do away with it. I have since bought a much smaller size, better looking overflow tank from Summit and will install on the driver's side. My question is, do I have to hook up anyting special for coolant to go back in the system?
The bottle has only one inlet where you put a hose (no cap) and an outlet at the bottom with a valve so you can dump fluid out. It also has a hose attachment connected to the valve.....do I have to run another hose from there back to the system somewhere?
