Do your doors currently open and close as they should? If they do then leave them alone. You are asking for heartache.

I saw a suicide 2nd gen Vert at Gainesville 2 years back.

Everything was reversed: doors, hood, trunk, & even the gas door!

It's not my taste, but the craftsmanship was outstanding.

Of course this thread is started by the guy that got under the hood and started tweaking with timing and fuel and now can't get the car to run right.

So one must ask...rwdburnout if you can't even get your car to idle correctly, what makes you think that you can get something as custom as suicide doors to work correctly???

Suicide doors look like *** on the FC... As goofy said, the doors are too long for them to look good suicide style. Ever notice how every car that came with suicide doors from the factory had fairly short doors?

'69 Continental.....the rears are almost as long as our doors...

Bottom line: it can be done. Its an *** load of work (not to mention FUNDAMENTALEY DANGEROUS IF ANY CORNERS ARE CUT WHATSOEVER) and an *** load of money to make the car heavier.

But hey to each his own......but I think you need to work on getting your car RUNNING properly before you worry too much about which way your doors open.

Daydreaming is fun, but c'mon.

lol, ****, may as well cut the door in half and go for the split shopping center electric door look for the new age! now that would be unique, like this thread though it would look retarded but then again why does anyone convert their doors? for the ******* attention..

Closing this thread. It's going nowhere and is basically just flamebait.
