Subframe Connectors
Subframe Connectors
Does anyone make/have subframe connectors for our cars? I know our cars are real stiff stock, but my friend just installed subframe connectors on his 2001 trans am, and the difference was unbelievable..
How feasable/practical would it be to make your own (prolly steel or alum pipe..welded to each subframe)? Would it even make a difference?

Sorry to resurrect an old thread, but searching on info for dropping my rear subframe produced this thread.
I own both cars, the TA really likes the subframe mount because there's really just a floor and side rail. The RX-7s have a very beefy door sill, as well as two u channels stiffening the floor already. Not much need for additional reinforcement there.

The TA's are just huge and soft. The average buyer of a TA is 46 and he is a middle managment type going through a mid life crisis.
besides if hes doing sub frame connectors he better have the new boxed control arms as well
