Exclamation stupid question but jsut checkin... spark plugs?

how many spark plugs on rotaries.. i thought there was 2 but im just double checking cuz im going to order some tommorow. be gentle :P

im just gonna guess that youve got a GXL...

but anyhow there are 4.. 2 leading and 2 trailing. the stock ngk's are pretty good, and are available at any kragen for 5$ a peice.

note: the leading and trailing plugs are different. i dont know what difference it makes, but theyre different.

Mazda rotaries have two plugs per rotor. 13B's have two rotors, so they have four spark plugs.

4 ok thanks sounds good.

wat u guys think of my choice for spark plugs...
Denso Iridium IX Part NUmber: BR10EIX??

and since i got everyones attention... the drive belts are as follows for a canadian 1990 TII (heard canadian are diff than american). Power steering, alternator, air conditioning, oil pump?

im gonna be honest here.. what ive heard, is that iridium wont really do anything. except get fouled withing 10k miles. i use the stocker ngk's, and they do a good job. the only reason to change plug specs is if you have a motor modified for track use.

You can't use regular spark plug socket for the B10 sparkplugs. You need the thin wall type. If that car is a stocker, stick with NGK BUR plugs.

Yeah just stick with the normal bur7eq and bur9eq or you can go with all 9's for a colder spark.

yep, ngk stock are excellent. I believe that I got a platinum version of some sort that last a little longer. I ordered them through mazdatrix.
