www.mazdatrix.com has stuff. They have flanges and stuff where you can customize your own pipes. Sometimes when you go aftermarket, its hard to mix and match pipes because not everyone sticks to the stock flange pattern. I dont' know if Greddy did, but www.racingbeat.com has the stock flange pattern. They have a downpipe and midpipe, or a presilencer, depending on what you want and what kind of engine you have (turbo or nonturbo). I have their downpipe and presilencer.

www.rx7store.net is a great place they have good prices. You want to get a downpipe, a midpipe, then that will bolt to your catback. the catback is usually what has the presilncer so dont worry about that. And rember if you want to pass emmissions you might want to have the option of swaping in a converter. you can do this by getting downpipes and midpipes that bolt in the same factory location, which i know for a fact www.rx7.com sells.

Yep, depends on emissions where u are. And what budget you have?
You can get nice effective free flowing exhaust done cheap at some local muff shops...The DP is a nice mod because it takes off the stock manifold and helps get that heat out quicker...But you could also smack it out and just replace the main cat with a pipe too...
Remember, increasing boost a bunch could raise you over stock boost cut of 8.6 psi, so bewear, you don't want to blow your new T2...
You should also replace the fuel filter if it hasn't been done recently...
Good luck/skill & enjoy her!

YOU WILL BLOW YOUR ENGINE UP.

Ok, now that I have your attention do not do the full exhaust mods untill you have searched and learned these items/problems that affect all TII (especially 87-88).

Boost creep
wastegate porting
Fuel Cut
fuel cut defencer (FCD)
cold night

In short, the wastegate on the stock turbo is so small that any less restriction in exhaust causes a raise in boost AND the engine control computer (ECU) CUTS fuel to the engine once a certain level of boost is exceeded.

These issues cause serious problems and the resultant band aid fixes that BLOW many TII engines up.
